3The Together association offers Hobby groups that meet weekly. The groups aim to improve the participants’ ability to function in everyday life and combat loneliness. Hobby groups are open to everyone and free of charge. You can join the groups at any time, and you do not need to register in advance. The Weekly calendar changes every six months, and there are many activities, from language groups to theater improvisation, crafts and dance. 

The association is involved in the production of several events. Such are, for example, the Multicultural Independence Day celebration, the RuisRaiku fest in Runosmäki, the Etnofest organized in Varissuo, the Anti-Racism Week Celebration and the Multicultural Independence Day celebration. In addition, small customer events, such as anniversaries and homework parties, are organized in the association’s own premises. Volunteers are remembered at the Thank You Party held at the end of the year.

Two days a week are reserved for individual help and support. That’s when job applications are written, official matters and minor computer problems are sorted out. Adult students are offered homework help. The activity is financed by the Social and Health Organizations Assistance Center STEA . 

The activity calendar for spring 2025 has been published. The operation will start from 13 January 2025.
