The Together-association’s Varissuo 2.0 community art project’s exhibition opens at the Turku Main Library on 2.7. Financed by the Arts Promotion Centre Taike, the Finnish Cultural Foundation, and the city of Turku, this project portrays the experiences of those living in Varissuo and their sense of community and identity, as well as how the suburb is reflected in their day to day life. The professional artists who have worked on the project are Tommi Parkko (literary arts), Veera Lehtola (video), and Sanni Saarinen (photography). The exhibition will be available until the end of August.
